Description

Our prestigious client is looking for a Practice Accountant to join their rapidly growing firm in Inverness.

Whilst in this varied and challenging role you will be required to, but not be limited to; Looking after limited company, partnership and sole trader clients, Preparing VAT returns, annual accounts and corporation tax returns, Preparing personal tax returns, Scheduling work for the practice and Reviewing work prepared by other team members.

Essential requirements

• Solid, relevant and recent experience in a Practice environment
• Working current knowledge of UK tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small business
• Strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems and IT proficient
• Qualified/part-qualified AAT, ACCA or similar. QBE considered if backed up with solid practice experience
• A knowledge of payroll and pensions would be beneficial
• Genuine desire to be a trusted advisor to small business clients
• Good people skills and a confident and friendly personality to help build strong relationships with the team and with clients
