Global Highland are actively looking for any HSE professionals looking for a new opportunity. Although this role is classed as a HSE advisor anyone with their Nebosh Certificate or relevant N/SVQ Level 3 and 2 years experience within the engineering, fabrication and construction industries or working towards it will be considered.
This is an exciting opportunity based at Nigg for 4-6 months. There are 2 positions 1 for day shift and 1 for night shift. Both shifts are 12 hours.
Duties will include
Advising on improvements of all aspects of occupational Health & Safety and related training of personnel.
Coaching and influencing stakeholders, to facilitate continuous H&S improvement throughout the organisation.
Aiding the implementation of the approved HS&E improvement plan for Global Energy (Group).
Assisting managers to close out actions arising from H&S audits by customers, third parties and internal audits.
Carrying out H&S, tours, audits and incident investigations, writing reports and making recommendations.
Monitoring & collating statistics of the company & reporting to HS&E Manager.
Coordinating and interacting with other business units as required by the HS&E Manager.
Assisting management in the preparation of tender/ pre- qualification documents pertaining to Health, safety and environment requirements.
Support development of HS&E Management Systems and BMS.
Ensure work productivity is carried out in a cost conscious manner
