Description

Global Highland is working with a national client to source a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to be based in Morayshire.

The successful candidate will be required to work at various client premises in and around the Inverness & Morayshire regions providing Planned Maintenance, Reactive and Small Works. While ensuring the Planned Maintenance Works are carried out in a timely fashion in line with the PPM Planner.

DUTIES:

• To undertake planned, reactive, and cyclical maintenance work as per the agreed client programme.
• To be responsible for ensuring all PPM are programmed and undertaken in line with the contractual/statutory requirements and the candidate’s skill set. This will involve utilising the CAFM system (Concept).
• To take responsibility for contractor management, ensuring all contractors have supplied the required RAMs and they are reviewed prior to commencing work.
• To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the client teams.
• To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools.
• To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of the company
• To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and help desk reports, informing the Contracts Manager or sub-contractors of any follow up action that may be required.
• To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
• The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of company policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
• To carry out any other duties assigned by your line manager in connection with company operational requirements.
  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• • Time served Mechanical/Electrical Tradesman or Gas Engineer with minimum of 5 years experience in installation and maintenance work
  • Experience in A/C, chiller, Air Handling systems
  • Experience in electrical power distribution systems/lighting systems (preferred)
  • Experience in commercial/industrial gas installations (beneficial)
  • Health & Safety Certificate
  • Post holder must hold a full current driving license
  • Excellent Customer Care skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work safely at all times
  • Ability to work within a team.

Due to the nature of some of the works, the post holder will be required to obtain National Security Vetting to SC level clearance.
