    Description

    Our esteemed client has an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. As Purchase Ledger Assistant you will assist the accounts team with a variation of accounts and administrative tasks.

    This role will include but not be limited to;

    • Matching purchase invoices to Purchase Orders where applicable and following up on any variances/issues in a timely manner
    • Ensuring that purchase invoices are processed onto the Supplier ledger on a timely, accurate and complete basis
    • Scanning and filing of processed purchase invoices
    • Assisting with the preparation of supplier payment runs
    • Bookkeeping and accounts duties
    • Management of the supplier ledger including query resolution and supplier statement reconciliations

    Essential Criteria;

    • Previous experience of working within an accounts role
    • The ability to work well under pressure
    • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Sage Accounts 50 and Microsoft Excel)
