About Debbie

Debbie started her career as a PA with a blue chip company in London, then relocated to the Highlands where she moved into HR and recruitment within the public sector.

Beginning her journey with Global Highland in 2000, Debbie worked both as a Recruiter and in Business Support across a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial, construction, driving, manufacturing and the public sector. She has SVQ Management Level 4 / CertRP qualifications and was heavily involved in the implementation of contract procedures whilst Business Support Lead.

Debbie has recently progressed to the role of Group Recruitment Project Lead drawing on her experience and organisational skills to manage and oversee a wide variety of projects for GEG Capital’s esteemed portfolio recruitment businesses - Global Highland, Cammach, Be Personnel and Genesis Personnel. This includes co-ordinating the implementation of new IT systems, assisting with tenders and branding exercises, devising process flows and contract procedures for Quality Management Systems and audit preparation.

During a career break from recruitment in the early 90’s, Debbie was partner in a photography business spending time placating children to smile for the camera, or in a dark room huddled over proofs selecting photos for the perfect wedding album (yes, before digital photography!). Debbie is an avid reader, loves eating out and walking to then burn off all the calories.
