    Job Title: Financial Controller
    Location: Inverness
    Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week

As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our team.
    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a recognized CA qualification, ACCA, or CIMA, and extensive experience in a similar industrial business. This is a full-time role, and the Financial Controller will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial stability of the company.
    Responsibilities:
    Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
    Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
    Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making.
    Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and credit control to optimize financial stability.
    Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and insightful financial reports for the executive team, stakeholders, and external auditors.
    Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance to minimize the company's tax liability while ensuring adherence to tax laws.
    Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring their professional development and growth.
    Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Qualifications:
    • Qualified accountant with a recognized CA qualification, ACCA, or CIMA.
    • Extensive experience in a similar business, preferably in an industrial supply or manufacturing setting.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.
    • Proficient in financial software and tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
