    Our esteemed Client are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join their busy Finance team on a part-time, temporary basis working 20 hours per week. As Finance Officer, you will carry out day to day tasks for the finance team to help provide an efficient finance function.

    The role

    • Maintain finance records on Quickbooks
    • Check purchase invoices against orders and maintain purchase ledger
    • Carry out bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
    • Maintain sales ledgers
    • Draw up information for month end accounts
    • Collate payroll information across the organisation
    • Liaise with colleagues to collect and provide information for financial reporting
    • Processing confidential information
    • Gather evidence for grant claims

    The person

    • Previous experience working in an office environment is essential, a finance office would be preferred
    • Confident using Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Ability to use own judgement to make decisions
    • Strong attention to detail and confident with numbers
    • Accurate data entry skills
    • A qualification in Finance or Business Studies is desirable
