We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician to service and repair products in a workshop environment along with carrying out site repairs, basic first line remote support, and remote customer support over the telephone and online.
Candidates will have had exposure to electrical and/or mechanical equipment, supported or directly maintained electrical or mechanical equipment and have at minimum a basic level of IT.
Main Duties
The technician will be expected to repair and service of the diverse range of products that group support.
- Repair of fish farm cage side camera systems
- Routine maintenance and repair of underwater lights.
- Telephone support to customers
- Technical support to sales team.
The technician will be allocated tasks with sole responsibility, will then be expected to complete this task with regard to recording time, parts used and details of work undertaken.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post holder may be required to perform other duties resulting from organisational change, restructuring or temporary re-assignment of work. There may also be a requirement to work on site should workload demand.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hour week
- Some overtime and weekend work may be required should workload demand
