Description

Global Highlands’ well-established client with a strong reputation for providing excellent property management services, are seeking a Lettings Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in Inverness.

As the Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the lettings operations within the office and providing support to the Directors.

The role

Providing support, guidance and direction to staff members and being the first point of contact for any queries
Managing and improving staff performance through training and performance management
Overseeing the daily running of the lettings department
Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure procedures are up to date and update/create new procedures where necessary
Reporting any staff issues to the directors
Keep up to date with legislation and compliance and ensure all legislation is adhered to
Carry out market appraisal appointments to secure new landlord business
Managing invoicing and bank payments and maintaining accurate records of all lettings transactions
To undertake any additional duties necessary

Essential criteria

Minimum 3 years lettings experience
Previous management experience and the ability to motivate and manage a team
A good understanding of Scottish Letting Legislation and solid understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations
Driving license
Awareness of Scottish Letting Agent Code of Conduct 2018

Desirable criteria

Residential Letting and Property Management – level 6 award
An understanding of specific property management software
Accountancy related qualification would be advantageous
