Description

Global Highland are working with a respected local client who are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their busy team on a full-time, temporary basis for approximately 3 months.

As the Accounts Clerk, you will assist the accounts team with a variety of accounts and administrative tasks.

Duties

• Helping the accounts team with day-to-day duties
• Dealing with sales ledger/purchase ledger enquiries via telephone and email
• Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and following up with any issues in a timely manner
• Ensuring purchase invoices are processed onto the supplier ledger on a timely, accurate and complete basis
• Scanning and filing
• Management of supplier ledger and supplier statement reconciliations
• Dealing with new suppliers

Desirable attributes

• Knowledge of Sage Accounts 50 and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous however full training will be given
• A polite telephone manner is essential for this role
• Attention to details and the ability to work well under pressure
• Must be a team player with an enthusiastic “can do” attitude
