Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for leading and developing teams? We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Retail Team Leader to join our vibrant retail store in Evanton, located in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. As a Retail Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients store while providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position, working 24 – 32 hours per week, split over 4 – 5 shifts (hours to be agreed with successful candidate).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Ensure excellent visual merchandising standards are maintained to attract and engage customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
• Manage inventory levels and participate in stock replenishment activities.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform cash handling duties accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supermarket or team leadership role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented approach with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, within the hours of 5.30am - 11.00pm.
• Must be aged 18+ due to the nature of the position.
