Role Overview:

As a Manufacturing Operative, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment. You will be part of a collaborative team that strives to maintain our high standards of product quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery according to standard operating procedures
• Labelling packaging as it comes off the plant
• General housekeeping and maintenance in the factory
• Manual banding and strapping wood
• Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
• Good communication skills to convey information effectively
• Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.
