Job: Showroom Counter Assistant

Description

Global Highland are currently seeking a retail assistant to work in a busy clothing department where you will assist with the day to day running as well as deal with any customer enquiries, process sales and ensure the department is thoroughly replenished.

• Provide excellent and welcoming customer service
• Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner, liaising with the clothing and branding internal sales team to ensure customers receive the best advice and response
• Provide support for other trade counters as required
• Assist with showroom security
• Display merchandise and equipment, showing initiative with regards to the display of new ranges or products to attract customer engagement
• Replenish showroom shelves
• Retain high shop-keeping standards

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Must be able to demonstrate direct customer sales experience
• Ideally from a clothing and/or footwear retail background
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Good use of initiative and ability to work independently
