Our client who works within the peatland restoration and forestry industry are seeking a skilled digger operator to join their team. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality projects, our clients pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation.
Duties:
·Operate construction plant machinery including 13 tonne excavator and other equipment depending on your certifications,
·Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
·Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
·Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
·Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
·Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, project managers, and labourers, to achieve project goals.
·Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
·Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and practices, minimizing the impact of construction operations.
Qualifications:
·Valid certification for 13 tonne excavator
·NPORS
·CSCS
·Experience woking with peatland.
·Sound knowledge of plant, construction, and civil sites.
·Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
·Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
·Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
