Global Highland are currently working with one of their long standing clients to source a Business Support Manager. This is a new position due to department restructure and with this in mind the role will be initially for 1 year and reviewed there after.
Whilst in this role the Business Support Managers main responsibilities will be to provide a comprehensive range of executive support and business development services at Corporate level whilst providing line management support and leadership for administrative and secretarial staff. Supporting senior directors with the design and development of business and communication systems with it being the responsibility for the post holder to ensure the effective and efficient operation and delivery of these functions. Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to leading and monitoring key projects and initiatives, coordinating reports, minute taking, proof reading, IT updates, monitoring and managing budgets and reporting budget outcomes to relevant parties whilst always looking at quality improvement.
Due to the nature of this position the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in and operational or senior administrative position. This could be in the form of Office Manager, Business Support, Executive Support, Chief Executive PA, Senior PA or Board Administrator to name a few. Ideally with a mix of public sector and industry knowledge. The business support manager should have effective communication skills and effective working relationships with various levels of internal staff and external stakeholders.
