Love meeting people? Ready to turn your confidence into a rewarding career?
Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of its client for enthusiastic, outgoing and motivated Regional Sales Executives to help bring ultrafast full-fibre broadband to homes and communities across the Highlands.
If you enjoy being out and about, striking up conversations and helping people find the right solutions for their needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is more than a traditional sales role. You’ll be out in local communities, meeting residents face to face, showcasing the benefits of full-fibre connectivity and helping households access faster, more reliable broadband.
With a competitive basic salary, an attractive commission structure and full training provided, this is an exciting opportunity to build your sales career, develop valuable skills and be rewarded for your results.
No previous field sales experience? No problem. If you have the right attitude, enjoy working with people and are motivated to succeed, we want to hear from you.
The opportunity: Get out there and make a difference
As a Regional Sales Executive, you’ll be the face of the business within your designated territory, helping residents understand their broadband options and discover the benefits of full-fibre connectivity.
Your days will be varied and active. From door-to-door conversations and local drop-in sessions to roadshows and community events, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet new people, build relationships and generate new business.
You’ll work independently across your area while being part of a supportive team that shares knowledge, celebrates success and helps everyone achieve their goals.
Whether you’re an experienced salesperson or looking to move into a new career, you’ll receive the training, coaching and support you need to build confidence and succeed.
What you’ll be doing
Connecting with local communities: Engage with residents through door-to-door activity, community events and local engagement initiatives.
Showcasing full-fibre broadband: Explain the benefits of faster, more reliable connectivity in a friendly, clear and engaging way.
Finding the right solutions: Understand each customer’s needs and help them choose a suitable broadband package.
Winning new customers: Generate sign-ups, develop sales opportunities and work towards individual and team targets.
Creating local opportunities: Support drop-in sessions, roadshows and community events to raise awareness and generate interest.
Building relationships: Develop positive connections with residents, local groups and community venues.
Representing the business: Deliver a professional, trustworthy customer experience and act as a positive ambassador for the brand.
Keeping accurate records: Record customer conversations, leads and sales activity to help track progress and identify opportunities.
Sharing valuable insight: Gather customer feedback and local market information to help the wider team improve its approach.
Working as a team: Collaborate with colleagues to maximise opportunities and contribute to shared success across the region.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people with personality, enthusiasm and the confidence to engage with others. You don’t need to be a natural-born salesperson, but you should enjoy meeting people, be comfortable starting conversations and have the determination to achieve results.
You’ll ideally be:
Friendly, approachable and confident communicating face to face.
Comfortable speaking with new people and building rapport quickly.
Motivated by targets, personal achievement and the opportunity to earn commission.
Positive and resilient, with the ability to stay focused when conversations don’t always go to plan.
Self-motivated and organised, with the confidence to manage your own territory.
Reliable, professional and committed to delivering a great customer experience.
A team player who enjoys sharing ideas and celebrating success.
Willing and able to travel regularly throughout the Highlands.
In possession of a full UK driving licence.
Your experience matters — but your attitude matters just as much
Previous field sales or direct sales experience would be beneficial, but it’s not essential.
We’d love to hear from candidates with backgrounds in:
Retail and customer service.
Hospitality and leisure.
Fundraising and charity work.
Events and promotions.
Community engagement.
Brand ambassador or face-to-face customer acquisition roles.
If you’re used to dealing with people, building trust and providing excellent service, you may already have many of the skills needed to succeed.
Experience in broadband or telecommunications is helpful but not required. Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided.
What’s in it for you?
We know that the right opportunity is about more than just a job title. This role offers the chance to develop professionally, earn based on your performance and be part of a business helping communities stay connected.
Competitive basic salary with a commission structure offering strong earning potential.
Full training and ongoing coaching to help you develop your sales skills and confidence.
32 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays.
Company pension scheme.
Employee Assistance Programme to support your wellbeing.
Cycle to Work Scheme and discounted gym membership.
Discounted home internet, subject to network coverage.
Career development opportunities within a growing organisation.
A varied, active working day where you’ll meet new people and work across different communities.
Why consider this opportunity?
This is your chance to do something that genuinely matters while developing valuable commercial skills.
You’ll help households discover better connectivity options, build relationships within local communities and contribute to the expansion of full-fibre broadband across the Highlands.
If you enjoy being out and about rather than behind a desk, like the challenge of working towards targets and want your hard work to be rewarded, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make your mark.
Ready to get started?
If you’re enthusiastic, confident and ready to take on a role where your personality, effort and results can make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
You don’t need to tick every box. If you have the drive to learn, the confidence to connect with people and the motivation to succeed, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
