We were delighted to recently participate in the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) ‘Older Workers’ employability sessions at all three Job Centres in Moray – Buckie, Elgin, and Forres, to assist their customers with progressing their careers.
Each session covered topics such as the advantages of older workers to an employer, interview techniques, hints and tips for CV writing, how to deal with gaps in your employment, work experience and volunteering opportunities in Moray, and overcoming the comfort zone and apprehension about starting new things.
