A Christmas Angel in Dingwall

Monday 23rd December 2019

    Dingwall Angel

Global Highland prides itself on the quality of candidate they provide.

The Global Values are a cornerstone in how we conduct both ourselves and our business.

Ian Ross demonstrated integrity and respect while working at the council doing a litter picking job for us. On his route he found £100 on the pavement. Without a second thought Ian went straight the Police Station in Dingwall to hand in the money.

By a stroke of luck, the owner of the lost money went to the station to report his loss. A pensioner, who wishes to remain anonymous, had realised he had dropped his pension in the high street soon after withdrawing it.

By the time he had arrived, Ian had already handed the money in and the Police were able to reunite the elderly gentleman with his money.

The pensioner got the details for Ian and went to the council depot to give Ian £25 and a massive thank you.

The story really touched the community and many comments have been made on Social Media, along with a report on the Ross-shire Journal.

Well done to Ian, your integrity ensured that gentleman will have a very merry Christmas and the Dingwall community spirit is heartened by your act.
