We are looking for a Junior Project Manager who will be will be responsible for assisting other project managers and engineers in the management of their projects. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our clients Capital plans, gaining a wide range of experience supporting projects at every stage from design conception to client handover. You will be ensuring that designated projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
- Ensure projects are conducted in accordance with all H&S requirements Including CDM regulations, suitable and sufficient RAMS are provided for all tasks and suitably trained and qualified staff and contractors are used.
- Manage the tasks and projects in a manner which reduces any risks to other teams, visitors and public.
- Day to day assistance to the senior project manager in the delivery of projects.
- Procure equipment and support the appointment of subcontractors.
- Assist with site feasibility studies and site investigations.
- Assist in the proposal preparation and tender submission processes.
- Prepare and manage project execution plans and status reports.
- Work closely and effectively with clients and internal project teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Have a project management, or engineering degree
- Industrial placement year completed in project management is preferred but not essential
- Full driving license may be required
Knowledge
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Understanding of Health and Safety legislation including CDM regulations.
- Knowledge of distilling/warehousing would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications including Project.
- Understanding of controlling project budgets
