Job Title: Heavy Machinery Mechanical Engineer
Location: Inverness, Banff, Inch, Dalcross or Stirling (Mobile Role)
Our client is a leading player in the energy sector, dedicated to providing sustainable and innovative solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of heavy plant machinery, contributing to the success of our energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy machinery, with a focus on plant machinery crucial to energy production.
2.Carry out inspections and diagnostics to identify and rectify mechanical issues promptly.
3.Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
4.Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal machinery performance.
5.Provide technical support and expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of heavy plant equipment.
6.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and service history.
7.Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
1.Relevant education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2.Proven experience in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, with a focus on plant machinery.
3.Familiarity with a range of heavy plant equipment, with experience working on tractors being desirable.
4.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
5.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
