Description

Due to an exciting period of growth and restructure, our client a market leader for over 150 years within the Food Production industry currently have a new opportunity, to expand their team with the successful placement of a Regional Project Manager based within the Fochabers area of the Highland/Moray area.

The key purpose of this role would be to support business growth, by delivering successful projects in their entirety within the European CAPECX team, on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (although not limited to):

• Support the development of solutions to project problem statements
• Successfully project manage multiple projects to completion
• Delivery weekly updates on progress, wins, challenges & budgets maintaining a high level of communication at all times
• Attend and at times lead & coordinate project meetings, issuing minutes and ensuring that all actions have been implemented
• Maintain & develop relations with colleagues from across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance
• Ensure that all appropriate staff are suitably trained, whilst also making recommendations to your Line Manager

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a minimum of 5 years experience managing projects within the FMCG industry
• Be a highly organised person with the ability to prioritise and manage their work load efficiently
• Be able to have proven experience to deliver multiple projects
• Have the ability to assess and solve problems, without allowing perfection to halter progress
• Be commercially aware

Education & Training:

• University graduate/time served Engineer with post qualification in project management
• Professionally certified (PMP or equivalent)

This is a fulltime position with a negotiable salary based on experience and skills that can be brought to the role.
