We are supporting a well-established industrial manufacturing business in Elgin who are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to support and improve quality standards across their manufacturing operations.
This role will suit someone with a strong engineering background, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment, who is comfortable working closely with machinery, production teams and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain quality systems and procedures across the site
Conduct inspections and quality checks on components and finished products
Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis
Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality and reduce defects
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process control
Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and industry regulations
About You
Proven engineering experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of CNC machinery and processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working with quality tools, inspection equipment and measurement techniques
Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
