Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the finance function across a range of core activities, including:
Supporting month-end close, including preparation and posting of journal
Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets
Matching, coding, and processing invoices and credit notes against valid purchase orders
Completing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Processing company credit card reports and ensuring compliance with company policy
Preparing draft VAT returns for review by senior finance staff
Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
Liaising with finance managers to obtain invoice approvals where required
Ensuring full compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and internal controls
Skills, Experience & Attributes
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with the following:
Essential: Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (desirable)
Studying towards ACCA or a similar professional qualification (desirable)
Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proactive, self-motivated, and keen to develop within a finance career
