The Opportunity
Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the agricultural and logistics sector for a Warehouse Operative and Intake Assistant to join their busy depot in the Highlands.
This is a varied role combining administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse duties. The successful candidate will support both the Depot Manager and Supervisor, playing a key role in stock intake, processing and general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
Accurate processing of paperwork and data
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders via phone, email and in person
Maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy
Supporting and promoting health & safety procedures
Acting as Health & Safety Champion for site (training provided)
Coordinating intake processes for deliveries
Operating forklift trucks (FLT licence desirable, training may be available)
Physical handling and movement of stock
Providing a professional and helpful service to suppliers and visitors

Requirements
Essential
Minimum 6 months warehouse experience
Strong communication skills
Good numerical skills
Desirable
Health & Safety knowledge or qualification
FLT licence
What’s on Offer
Salary: £29,500
Benefits: 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Increases with service), Employee Assistance Programme, Pension salary sacrifice, cycle to work scheme, on site parking
Working pattern: Monday – Thursday – 0800 – 1630, Fri – 0800 – 3.30
